What is rose therapy?
Rose therapy is a specialist massage that uses our freshly made rosewater from farm to kitchen philosophy, the roses are organic and grow abundantly at the wellness bungalow in Encino Hills. Roses hydrate the body and face using rose essential oils and balms and rosewater.
How does rose therapy work?
Your spa therapist will warm the body with stones and will do a massage and facial combo basically a rose facial and a rosewater massage customized.
The skin is treated with nourishing oils, while a nurturing rose balm and personalized massage soothe and ground the spirit. The result is exquisitely moisturized, intensely supple, and delicately scented skin.
Rose oil stimulates the release of dopamine, a chemical believed to play a pivotal role in alleviating symptoms of depression. Researchers recommend opting for aromatherapy massage with rose essential oil for treating depression rather than inhalation. Rose essential oil relieves stress, fights anxiety, and relaxes both body and mind.
During rose aromatherapy, the essential oils penetrate deep into your skin and the air in your lungs, regenerating the skin while soothing the mind. It gradually relaxes muscles, relieves spasms, and reduces inflammation. Additionally, rose water is a valuable beauty treatment for skin care and has antibacterial effects on various microbiota. For the face, just five minutes of an aromatherapy massage with rose essential oil can help combat acne.
Allow plenty of time for your rose treatment and arrive 10 minutes early to allow yourself time to relax, unlike most other spas, you will also be given 10 mins after the session to relax and soak in the whole blissful experience. If it is your first time at the spa you’ll be asked to complete a pre-treatment health questionnaire. Avoid eating a heavy meal or drinking alcohol prior to the treatment.
The origins of rose therapy can be traced back to over 2,000 years ago, on our blog.
